Domain Name System is a database that transforms numeral internet addresses into text addresses since it is easier for a user to remember the name rather than a series of numbers. For example, www.top.host is easier to remember than 85.25.76.139.

You can manage your DNS Entries in the Server Control Panel (Plesk Parallels Panel).

1. Log into myTophost Panel and click on Plesk Login to connect to the Plesk of the plan you are interested in.

2. In the tab Websites & Domains, click on DNS Settings.

A record or Address record defines which IP address belongs to a domain name. The A record translates the domain name into a numeral address. For example, a top.host domain name’s A record is 85.25.76.139.

Cname record (Canonical Name record) connects the real canonical name to alias names used by the computer itself. For example Top.Host’s Cname record is www.top.host.

MX record (Mail Exchanger Record) only involves our email service and it allows us to redirect the emails that we receive to accounts of our domain for any desired mail server. For example, the MX record of the domain name www.top.host is mail.top.host.

3. You can see and modify these records through the DNS Settings in Plesk.
