In order to enable a Password Protected Directory in Plesk, follow the instructions below.

1. Log into myTophost Panel and then select Plesk Login in order to connect to the Plesk of the plan that you are interested in.

2. In the tab Websites & Domains select Password Protected Directories.

3. Click on Add Protected Directory.

4. In Directory Name, enter a name for your directory. Leave Title of the protected area blank since it’s not mandatory. In our example, we put "test".

5. Select the protected directory that you created and add a new user (username / password) by clicking on Add New User.

6. Enter a Username and Password so that the user can log in with this information, when they type the Protected Directory.
