In case you have installed an SSL certificate on your site and the green lock doesn’t appear on the top-left corner of your browser, then you must configure another setting in the Joomla administrative environment. In order to do this, follow the instructions described below:

1. Log into the Joomla administrative environment

2. Click on System (1) and then Global Configuration (2).

3. In Force HTTPS section, in the field Server Settings (1) from the drop down menu, select Entire Site (2) and Save (3).

4. Once you have completed the previous tasks, download SSL Redirect and activate it through the Plugin Manager of your Joomla administrative environment.
