If you have already installed the SSL to your current registrar and wish to transfer it to Top.Host, or you would like to transfer an already installed certificate, from one web hosting plan to another, then take the following steps.
1. Find the Private, Crt and CA keys that correspond to the current SSL and save them to your computer in text format or copy-paste them in a text editor in text format.
2. Log into myTophost Panel and click on Plesk Login to connect to the Plesk of the plan you are interested in.
3. In the Websites & Domains tab, click on the icon SSL Certificates.
4. Click on Add SSL Certificate.
5. You have the possibility to transfer the SSL either by copying the certificates’ text or by uploading the files.
5.1 Transferring the SSL by copying the text
5.1.1. In the page that opens, fill in the SSL name in the field Certificate name.
5.1.2 . Next, in the bottom of the page, copy the certificates from the previous web hosting plan, in the fields as described in the image below. More specifically:
1. In the field Private key, paste the Private key from the previous web hosting plan
2. In the field Certificate (*.crt), paste the CRT certificate from the previous web hosting plan
3. In the field CA certificate (.*ca.crt), paste the CA certificate from the previous web hosting plan
* NOTE: The CSR key transfer to the new web hosting plan is optional.
5.1.3 Once you have filled in all the above mandatory fields, click on Upload Certificate.
5.2 Transferring SSL by uploading files
5.2.1 In the page that opens, fill in the name of the SSL in the field Certificate name.
5.2.2 Upload the Private, crt and CA keys by clicking on Choose File on the right of each key.
5.1.3 Once you have uploaded the certificates, click on Upload Certificate.
6. In the Websites & Domains, click on Hosting Settings.
7. Find the section called Security. Make sure that the option SSL Support is enabled. Select your certificate from the drop down menu. Click on ΟΚ at the bottom of the page, in order to complete the process.
