Aliasing a domain allows multiple sites to refer to the same website. This way, your site opens with many different domains without any extra charges, as long as you have already registered them.
In order to create a domain alias in Plesk, take the following steps:
1. Log into myTophost Panel and select Plesk Login in order to connect to the Plesk of the plan that you are interested in.
2. In the tab Websites & Domains, click on Add domain Alias.
3. In the tab Add a Domain Alias,
- Enter the alias domain (1)
- Select the domain name for which you activated the alias (2)
Leave default in the following fields apart from Redirect with the HTTP 301 code which is optional as the search engines will automatically redirect to the main domain address once they find the alias address, resulting in its cancellation.
Synchronize DNS zone with the primary domain - to synchronize the DNS service.
Mail Service - When you receive an email on an account of the domain alias, you will receive it in the corresponding mailbox of the domain.
Web Service - in order to have all the domain Web services.
Redirect with the HTTP 301 code
Click on ΟΚ.
